Abstract


After entering the 21st century, the auto industry has become the pillar industries of the world. Automobile’s role in society have become more and more prominent. How to better develop the automobile industry and improve its quality, has become a major issue to tackle with, In this paper, besides considering economic and applicability, combining the popular automotive navigation systems, this dissertation discusses the embedded vehicle guide system for a particular market. This paper focuses on the overall framework of this system and the software designment embedded Linux operating system platforms. In the MiniGUI graphics development environment, According to users’ needs and the development of market-related industries, the dissertation have expatiated on the particular graphical interface design and functional modules for the embedded vehicle guide system.Chapter 1 summarizes the background and the development of the car navigation industry, analyzes existing technological obstacles of the car navigation industry and the development of the guided tour market, puts forward the embedded vehicle guide system.Chapter 2 outlines the general framework of this system, the development of the hardware and system-driven program. Finally, it brings forward the general overview for the application software.Chapter 3 introduces the establishment of the embedded linux operating system. first introduces the relevant technology, then describes established and transplanting processes of boot loader, kernel and file system.Chapter 4 expatiates on positioning function of this system. According the introduction of the GPS modules and the coordinate projection, it put forward the GPS coordinate conversion for this system.Chapter 5 describes how to establish and transplant the MiniGUI graphical development environment, including in the PC and the target board.Chapter 6 expatiates on the software program based on MiniGUI, including application initialization, news cycle and window function, the system also introduces two ways to update information for the system.Chapter 7 concludes the research works of the dissertation, also raises the tendency of the possible way of further development.
