Abstract


Infrared thermal imaging technology has been applied widely in the military and civil fields. Infrared dual field-of-view optical system not only has high transmittance simple structure and low cost,but also can complete the field conversion,so it has an important position in the infrared optical systems.According to the design requirement and parameters of the detector, after studying the basic characteristics of infrared optical system and the zoom theory,we identify the parameters(focus length,fields and apture.etc) of the infrared dual field-of-view optical system.Through analysising patent of the domestic and foreign dual field-of-view optical systems,we identify the initial structure of the dual field-of-view optical system.Using the CODEV optical design software to optimize,we complete the axisal movement type,cut-in type dual zoom optical systems and dual field-of-view and dual-image optical system design.In order to satisfy the 100% cold stop efficiency of cooling detector,three kinds of optical systems use the secondary imaging structure.The first tow of systems convert the fields by axisal moving and cutting-in-out the lens. Using the splitting prinple dual field-of-view and dual-image optical system make two images in an image plane without converting fields.These designs are applied to 320x256 MWcooling detector,have the good image quality and their MTF at 161p/mm in two focus positions are over 0.6.This paper also analysises the cause of narcissus and the significance of properties,and elaborates the ways of eliminating the Narcissus for the two dual zoom optical systems.In addition,we make the athermalization design for two dual zoom optical systems,so that they still have good image quality in the temperature range of-40℃—60℃.
