Abstract


The problem of road snow and ice can be effectively improbed and thehidden dangers can be eliminated by Granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement.It also has very good environmental benefit for recycling of scrap tires. Sogranulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement has a wide application prospect. Butthe adhesion ability between granulated crumb rubber and asphalt is not goodand early water damage of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement is serious.By studying the durability of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement, thispaper propesed rational measures to improve its performance and providedreference for its extension and application.This paper takes Inner Mongolia scientific and technological project oftraffic—Study on application of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement formelting ice and snow as the basis. The durability of granulated crumb rubberasphalt pavement is studied aiming at raveling and spalling of granulated crumbrubber and water damage of pavement structure. The main research contents:(1)Analyzing the two failure process of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavementand the mechanism of spalling of granulated crumb rubber and water damage of pavement, Based on the investigation and evaluation of adhesion ability test andwater stability test of mixture, improving the test and propessing new testaccording to the characteristics of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement.(2)Analyzing the effect of granulated crumb rubber in mixture, modifying thevolume design method based on main aggregate frame, designing mixproportion with main control index of objective void, researching the effect ofgranulated crumb rubber size to mixture performance, propessing reasonablegradation range, researching the effect of mixture gradation type toasphalt-aggregate ratio, porosity and mixture strength.(3) Analyzing workingstate of granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement and OGFC, improvingmixture durability of mixture by using TPS high-viscosity asphalt, researchingthe effect of TPS modifier mix amount and temperature by adhesion ability testand water stability test, propessing the optimum scheme of TPS modifier ingranulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement.(4) Using TOR reactive modifier ingranulated crumb rubber asphalt mixture which used in dry rubber asphalt,improving adhesion ability between granulated crumb rubber and asphalt bysurface activation of granulated crumb rubber and crosslinking action of TOR reactive modifier, researching improvement effect of mixture durability byadhesion ability test and water stability test, propessing the optimum scheme ofTOR reactive modifier in granulated crumb rubber asphalt pavement.
