Abstract


Automobile steering system is one of the important parts of automobile, andfurther attention has been paid to it since the advent of automobile. In recent years, theauto Electric Power Steering (EPS) with a series of advantages, such as high efficiency,energy saving, high performance, low cost and so on, is gradually replacing thetraditional hydraulic Power Steering system. EPS system as a direction of developmentof automobile Steering system has caused more and more attention of researchers[1].EPS system is a multivariable system, and each variable and the systemperformance are corresponding; to make the system meet the requirement of thecomprehensive performance, the controller often needs to adjust various parametersrespectively. So the actual debugging workload is very big. Paper starts from robustcontrol, using computer simulation method to research the performance of the system,putting forward a kind of EPS system of integrated control strategy, to make the systemmeet the requirements of robustness, and take into account other various performanceindicators system. In order to solve this problem, the paper makes the followingresearch work:By analyzing the working principle of the EPS system, the paper uses the kineticsprinciple to establish a mathematical model with a tire model of EPS system, and verifythe validity of the model. On the basis of EPS system mathematical model, the steeringwheel to driver’s sense of "road", in the aid of motor torque output fluctuations androbust anti-jamming performance of the system as the control target, the paper buildsthe system state space and the augmented matrix of the object. Based on h-infinityrobust control theory, paper solves the robust controller, and analysises the dynamicalcharacteristics of the EPS system under the robust control. Through the computersimulation and frequency domain features of the open loop transfer function, analyzingthe reasons of the dynamical characteristics do not meet the requirements. Using EPSsystem power output as control objective, and utilizing the actual power system outputand the ideal power input of deviation builds dynamical feedback controller. Puttingforward a guarantee robustness EPS system’s controller, it balances system’s dynamicalcharacteristics of the integrated control strategy.Paper has carried on the simulation research to put forward integrated controlstrategies. The simulation research shows that: Paper puts forward the comprehensive control strategy. It can not only guaranteethe robust performance and the anti-jamming performance of EPS system, but alsoensure the power characteristics of the system.
