With the popularity and development of the Internet, the virtual private network technology based on multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) has attracted widespread attention. MPLS VPN can use public backbone network extensive and powerful transmission capacity, reduce the enterprise internal network/Internet construction cost, greatly enhance the user network operation and management flexibility, and can satisfy user’s information transmission safety, real-time, wide band, the need of convenience, so very popular with some large cross-regional group popular with the customers. With the rapid growth of users, the rapid development of network technology, people have put forward higher request of QoS mechanis of the existing network operators of MAN. How to request the business level business use the standard agreement transmit QoS level, How to allocate the reasonable network resources according to the business level of bearing level is still worth exploring.This paper does the research on the Qos ability realization in the network of Shandong telecommunication operators’network based on the technology MPLS VPN.Shandong telecom IP on man has tens of thousands of clients Internet users and1.2million public line broadband users, NGN about50000VoIP voice users and part of the local big customer VPN special business. But in the current IP man can only meet basic Internet business needs, lack of QoS, MPLS VPN, network security, and other aspects of the strategy deployment, cannot achieve business differentiation recognition and prioritized bearing, cannot satisfy voice and video business bearing quality.To adapt to the current integrated business development needs of IP bearing, this paper describes the details of optimized renovation on existing Shandong telecom IP MAN.The MAN is adjusted for IP bearing network which has a comprehensive IP business of carrying capacity of high quality, high reliability, high safety and high QoS in order to make Shandong telecom IP man structure more reasonable, not only to provide the business of access and load variation, but also to lay a solid foundation for the next generation of multi-business core bearing platform based on IMS.
