Nowadays railway traffic and railway transport have greatly facilitated the travel of people and goods transport. In recent years, the rapid development of the railway has greatly connect the cultural and material exchanges between urban and rural,it also promotes the development of industrial and agricultural production.In twenty-first century, railway transport plays an increasingly important role in the social and economic life of contemporary people. The railway of china has achieved raising the speed during most area for six times.And with the development of new technologies, more and more high-speed rail with the speed more than350KM/h are already under construction. Because the train has a very large passenger capacity, it would caused a heavy casualties and irreparable loss once the accident happened. The security when locomotive running on the railway become particularly important. During the time when we raise the speed of locomotive, We need also to ensure the safety of locomotive traveling on the railway.This article designed a kind of train safety information inquiry and alarm system on vehicle terminal in the existing basis of LKJ2000locomotive running monitor and recording device. The specific contents of this article are made up of the following parts:First, the vehicle terminal collects the related running information and data of locomotive from the monitor device LKJ2000through the CAN to UART module.Then the vehicle terminal transmits the running information of locomotive which collected from LKJ2000to the ground control center through GPRS wireless communication module. Meanwhile the vehicle terminal analyses the related data and make a judgement according to the locomotive running data and alerts to the ground center when the vehicle terminal finds that the locomotive is in non-normal running state. Another software component of the vehicle terminal (the intelligent interaction center) stores the railway safety regulations and relevant traffic information, for ease of query by the driver in the course of driving. In addition,the intelligent interaction center can obtain locomotive running information from vehicle terminal,deal with the LKJ data from the course,and then generate a driver’s declaration automatically. After that it’ll send the declaration through wireless network to the center ground.The vehicle terminal designed in this paper can help the ground management center monitor the running state of locomotive on the railway which under the jurisdiction of the related ground management center. The vehicle terminal is beneficial to the ground management center to organize and dispatch the locomotive timely and rationally. The locomotive ground management department can make timely response to the unexpected situations occur on the locomotive through the vehicle terminal. Meanwhile, the voice alarming funcion of the vehicle terminal provides reliable guarantee for the locomotive’s running safety. It provides a scientific basis for locomotive management, helps the ground center master the locomotive manipulation of driver and improves the operation and management level of the locomotive depot efficiency.The vehicle terminal designed in this paper has been tested and improved in practical applications for several months. The related performance such as data collection and data wireless transmission are reliable.
