Abstract


Wettability is one of the important characteristics of solid surface, which is govermed by chemical composition and the geometric microstructure. The life activities of animals and plants were impacted by wettability, at the same time, wettability plays an important role in human’s manufacture and life. There are great research value and practical significance to preparation of special wettability self-cleaning superhydrophobic surface which had been becoming a hot spot in home and abroad. The preparation methods of superhydrophobic surface are various, among these methods have limited practical application owing to the preparations involve special equipments, much organic solvent, so exploration simple, environment-friendly and wettability tunable superhydrophobic surface is longing for.In this article, focusing on the preparation methods of superhydrophobic, amphiphilic block copolymer and fluorine-containing azobenzene used for pepraration superhydrophobic surface were studied.In the first part of this paper, the correlation study of theoretical basis, preparation methods for superhydrophobic surface were summerized. In the second part of this paper, the copolymerization of tert-butyl methacrylate and 4-vinylpyridine were investigated by the process of reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT). The RATF agent and polymer was proved by the measure of infrared spectroscopy (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). the“grafting to”method was used to grafting amphiphilic block copolymer brushes of Poly(tert-butyl methacrylate-block-4-vinylpyridine) onto silica nanoparticles, at the same time, the hybrid nanoparticles materials was dispersion to pH=2 aqueous phase, superhydrophobic surface was preparated by controlling the aggregates of hybrid materials.In the third part of this paper, fluorine-containing azobenzene was synthesised, its structure was characterized by IR and 1HNMR. A micro-nano dual-size structure raspberry-like rough surface was fabricated directly by different particle size silica. Azobenzene was linked to the silica rough surface by click chemistry, wettability and photo-responsive were studied, it indicate that the surface approximate to be superhydrophobic, its wettability is photo-resposive obvious.
