Abstract

Bag controlled-release fertilizer is designed for fruit trees which need large amount of nutrient and fertilizer nutrient can release through the micropore on fertilizer bag. It can release nutrients slowly to meet the nutrient demand of fruit trees, and has the characteristics of low cost, simple process. Bag controlled-release fertilizer is produced by College of Horticulture of Shandong Agricultural University. We studied the effect of bag controlled-release fertilizer on nutrient leaching, volatilization of ammonia and nitrous oxide emissions. The main results are as follows:(1) Ten days after fertilization, the increase extent of soil nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen concentration in different depth of bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment was less than that of common fertilizer treatment respectively. The concentrations of soil nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen concentration in different depth of bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment continued to increase in distance of0-4cm along horizontal direction and0-2cm along vertical direction from fertilization site50days after fertilization. They were higher than that of common fertilizer treatment, of which concentration of soil nitrate nitrogen and ammonium nitrogen in each depth started to decline. The concentration of soil nitrogen of bag controlled-release fertilizer was higher than that ofcommon fertilizer treatment in0-12cm soil layer along vertical directionn from fertilization site90days after fertilization,(2) The soil nitrogen loss of bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment reduced20.09%-54.01%compared with common fertilizer treatment. The leaching amount of base cation of K, Na, Ca, Mg in bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment decreased compared with that in common fertilizer treatment. After leaching the concentration of soil nitrogen of bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment remained at a higher level than that of common fertilizer treatment. Bag controlled-release fertilizer could reduce the loss rate of nutrients into deep soil through leaching.(3) The peak of NH3volatilization, N2O and CO2emission per day in soil of bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment were reduced, and their date were delayed5-15days compared with that of common fertilizer treatment. The cumulative amount of NH3volatilization, N2O and CO2emmision of bag controlled-release fertilizer treatment were reduced52.17%-59.70%,48.57%-49.5%,23.49%-30.57%,the total loss of NH3nitrogen and N2O nitrogen was reduced56.04%, the comprehensive warming potential were reduced28.31%,28.63%,27.75%in20,100and500years time scale than that of common fertilizer treatment respectively.
