Abstract


The Han Dynasty was the most important evolution period of ancient-modernChinese characters, during the time, modern character formulation was builded fromancient writing deformation, moreover, it have been made various. In early Han, sealcharacter was the permitted official text, gradually became one of the formal writing form,and the shape have started to change, particularly on stone, tablet, bronze brass, brick andtile. According to the history and Han character studies, there is a connection amongShang、Zhou and Qin Dynasty, it addressed the development of Chinese ancient characters.Meanwhile, the Han seal character points out the significance in both writing and carving.The variety Han seal character brings possibility of more research methods and art form.
