Abstract


Along with the fast development of radar technology, the radar antenna measuring technology should also be evolved to meet the requirement of measuring multiple novel types of radar antennas. Such a measuring technology not only should be improved in measuring accuracy, but also should be developed to meet the challenge of calculation capability of measuring system, due to the complexity of the radar antennas. The traditional radar antenna measuring technology is mainly the far-field antenna measuring technology, which is achieved by measuring and analyzing the radiation feature of the radar in the far-field. Though the far-field measurement reflects much fundamental property of the radar antenna, it has disadvantages in several aspects, such as being fragile to the influence of environment, being not able to accurately reflect some property of the radar antennas, etc. Therefore, it becomes more and more important to study the new generation of radar antenna measuring technology nowadays. The typical new generation of radar antenna measuring technology is the near-field measurement technology, which has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, strong anti-jamming ability and excellent calculation and analyzing capability, and has been widely applied in multiple radar measuring system.The phased-array radar becomes the main direction of radar techonology nowadays, profiting from its large detection distance and strong anti-jamming ability. The antenna measurement technology for phased-array radar has a more complex procedure compared with that of the conventional antenna, and its workload is dozens of the latter, hence leading to a higher requirement. The near-field radar antenna measuring technology should possess stronger calculation ability to carry the operations of the directional functions for thousands of radiation elements, and should also have higher measurement sensitivity. Apart from these requirements, it should be mentioned that the antenna measurement technology for phased-array radar is not only measuring the parameters of the radar antennas, but also replies on the profound understand of the whole radar system. Consequently, we should accomplish the measurement of antenna parameter, combining with the particular feature of the radar in measurement.To improve the efficiency of the the near-field phased-array radar antenna measurement, we have realized the function of multi-task measurement. In the condtion of single scanning using the detector, we have given the measurement results for the direction pattern of multiple beams, frequencies and channels in high density and accuracy, and largely improved the system measurement efficiency. In this thesis, the technology mentioned above has been illustrated in detail.
