Abstract


This article geostatistics method and soil type method to study the three-dimensional distribution of the the Urumqi River soil organic carbon , and estimated total reserves of soil organic carbon . Application the Arcgis three-dimensional analysis capabilities , and the surface area in the calculation of reserves data as a basis for the calculation , reducing the area of ??error due to the terrain . By DEM obtained the three - dimensional distribution of the Urumqi River soil organic carbon , intuitive and accurate than previous studies . The main conclusions are as follows : 1 . Calculated total organic carbon of the soil of the study area is 74,529,800 tons . Subalpine meadow soil , soil organic carbon reserves up to 26,602,200 tons . Second to grayish brown forest soil , to 19,746,500 tons . Again alpine meadow soil , mountain chernozem and mountain chestnut soil , soil organic carbon content is very similar , were 6,995,000 tons , 8,789,800 tons , 7,783,700 tons . Was the lowest for the mountain brown soil , to 4,612,600 tons . The vertical distribution of soil organic carbon : the surface layer of the soil directly accept the supply of organic debris from plant roots , stems, leaves , and fruit , more humus topsoil organic carbon content of more . Leaching layer and the deposited layer and the entire ecosystem is relatively close to the soil organic carbon content is relatively high . Because the soil parent material is relatively stable , the parent material is far from the ground ecosystems , soil organic carbon content minimum . Therefore , the distribution of soil organic carbon by surface leaching layer deposition layer , parent material , layer by layer to reduce . 3 . Distribution of soil organic carbon levels : along the Urumqi River , altitude gradually decreased progressively decreased , the vegetation coverage in general , this macro determines the distribution of soil organic carbon has a similar trend . Climatic conditions , mountainous compared to low altitude areas , humid climate , the dry season is short , and the average annual temperature is low , more conducive to the accumulation of soil organic carbon , it is the mountain soil organic carbon levels generally higher than lower altitudes . In mountainous areas , the soil texture is fine , multi- bias sticky or soil sticky , conducive to the accumulation of organic carbon and organic carbon density of high- value area . In contrast , in the low elevation areas , texture partial sandy or sandy loam , is not conducive to the accumulation of soil organic carbon , making this region to become a low-value area of the organic carbon content of the study area .
