Abstract


Objective: To investigate the sulfur ion transporter gene DTD ( sulphate transporter DTD ) and colorectal cancer correlation . Methods: clinical 36 cases of colorectal cancer patients ( male: 22 cases , female : 14 cases , with an average age of 52 years old) cancer tissue and normal colorectal tissues was detected by RT-PCR method in cancer tissue and normal colorectal tissues DTD gene expression and adenoma downregulated genes in DRA ( down Regulated in adenoma , DRA) expression results were analyzed . Combined with immunohistochemical staining methods for authentication . Results : DTD gene expression : of colorectal cancer tissue < normal colorectal tissues ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; well differentiated tumors gt ; poorly differentiated tumors (P lt; 0.05); DTD expression in accordance with the Dukes stage A / B phase gt ; C / D (P lt; 0.05). Gene DRA the DTD with similar results in accordance with the Dukes stage colorectal cancer tissue < normal colorectal tissues (P lt; 0.05); score of tumor gt ; poorly differentiated tumors ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; DRA expression A / B of gt; C / D (P lt; 0.05). Correlation studies , DTD gene , the DRA gene has a higher correlation . Combined with immunohistochemical staining experimental results verify the DTD protein expression in colorectal cancer significantly down-regulated . Gene DTD expression in colorectal cancer patients with gender , age, lymph node metastasis , distant metastasis had no significant correlation ( P gt ; 0.05) . Conclusion : DTD gene and colorectal cancer staging parting a certain relationship , may be involved in the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer .
