Humidity is defined as the water vapor content in the gas , and is an important environmental parameters . The accurate measurement of wet steam humidity large condensing steam turbine in a conventional power plant is of great significance . In this paper, based on changes in the dielectric constant of the resonant frequency of the microwave cavity with the cavity medium offset this principle design based on the perturbation of wet steam humidity measurement system , and system error analysis . The dielectric constant, the wet steam can be obtained from the dielectric constant and the relationship of the steam humidity , and to determine the humidity of the steam through the the detected resonant cavity frequency offset . Measurement system includes a the frequency tracking modules and high-precision frequency measurement module . Frequency tracking module microcontroller, the VCO output frequency and the resonant frequency of the resonator is real - time equivalent. Frequency measurement module adopts multi - cycle synchronization delay measurement and quantitative the combined measurement methods , measurement resolution 0.1Hz . CPLD chip design using VHDL programming , to improve the efficiency of the design .
