Abstract


Aero-engine performance depends largely on the quality of the blade, and thequality of engine blades also has a direct impact on the safety and reliability of theengine. Surface integrity of the blade, such as surface roughness, waviness and the frontand rear edge of the blade body adapter roundness, etc., as well as the blade geometry,such as surface curves, the blade inlet and exhaust edge radius of curvature of the blade,has great impact of the blade work airflow and aerodynamic performance, directlyrelated to the quality of the blade. Therefore, to made blades with high-quality surfaceintegrity, has a key decisive significance for enhancing engine performance and quality.To achieve high precision, low surface roughness, low residual surface stress, andlow hardening layer requirements of surface quality, it is an important developmenttrend of modern grinding technology, and also the final goal of surface integrityresearch.In this paper, according to the structural characteristics of aero-engine blade, hardprocessing material properties, high requirements of the surface integrity and other keyelements, research on CNC Abrasive belt grinding process of aero-engine blade. Theresults lay the foundation for the ultimate realization of automatic CNC abrasive beltgrinding of aero-engine blades, improve the machining efficiency, reduce the cost ofblade machining, improve the blade machining quality.The main research work of the project completed as follows:(1) Titanium alloy material properties analysis of aero-engine blade, research CNCabrasive belt grinding grindability of titanium blade.(2) Analyze the structural characteristics of aero-engine blade and grinding process,on the basis of forming theory of complex free surface, the free surface of seven axisCNC Abrasive belt grinding principle are presented, Research on the key technologiesof CNC belt grinding processing, such as equipment structure design, normal axialpressure control technology, error compensation technology etc..(3) According to the structure characteristics of aero-engine blade, materialproperties, surface quality and physical characteristics of CNC Abrasive belt grinding,determine process routes and parameters of the blade abrasive belt grinding. Introducesthe experiment system, while the data acquisition device has been described; Analysisof the grinding process scheme, initially identified the process parameters of the grinding test; Based on the contents of the surface integrity analysis, make the researchprogram of the abrasive belt grinding of the blade surface integrity research.(4) Carry out CNC abrasive belt grinding process test of aero-engine blade. In viewof the important evaluation index of surface integrity, including surface morphology,surface roughness, micro-hardness, microstructure, and residual stress, analyze theinfluence of the belt speed, grinding pressure, abrasive belt type and particle size oneach index.
