With the development of China's national economy , the progress of the application of science and technology as well as the continuous improvement of people's material and spiritual life of the traditional operating tools and management methods of electric power enterprises find it difficult to adapt to the current needs . Combined with the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company of Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company for this situation actually work out a based EAM system platform architecture , based on enterprise asset management software (MAXIMO) as the main centralized production management system , namely the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Production Management Information System (hereinafter referred SCMIS). This paper first introduces the background , the meaning and application of the current situation of the equipment management information system at home and abroad , followed by the introduction of the application environment and knowledge of the equipment management system MAXIMO software system , a detailed explanation of the relationship between MIS, MAXIMO, EAM , to expand the research and development, the author specifically involved in the design and implementation of production management , business transformation and integration of resources and other problems encountered in the production of management information systems , through a combination of Baotou power Supply Bureau in Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company production management information system empirical studies of the implementation of the the MAXIMO device management system , the link in the production run into different function modules . Finally, comparing the actual application effect of changes before and after the introduction of new production management system and Baotou Power Supply Bureau , summed up the problems in the implementation of the new system and appropriate corrective measures , and to provide a reference for future system upgrades and enterprise development .
