Abstract


The product quality is the life of the enterprise,and a variety of pharmaceuticalproducts is closely related to people’s health. In order to ensure the qu ality and safetyof medicines, enterprises are using manual inspection for a long time. However,alongwith the improvement of production efficiency, limitations of manual inspection on thespeed, accuracy and stability make it increasingly unable to adapt to the requirementsof the production. This paper makes the vials defects as detected objects, designed anddeveloped a set of vials defects visual detection system, achieve full range of detectionof all parts of the vials, not only to ensure the quality of products, and improving theproduction efficiency of the enterprise.Firstly, this paper analyzes the demand of the field of medicine for quality testingof packaging materials, and discusses the significance and market value of the vialsdefects vision inspection system. Then Outlines the definition of machine vision, andstudies the structure of the machine vision system. Besides, the paper analyzes theresearch status and development trends of the machine vision technology combiningwith the machine vision applications in various fields.Secondly, combining with the design requirements of vials defects visiondetection system, this paper introduces the overall structure of the detection systemfrom three aspects of the mechanical execution system, electrical control system andvisual imaging system. And study the key technologies of the mechanical flip program,defective sorting institution and tracking photographed way. Then the program ofvisual imaging system is designed from three parts of the light source and lighting,optical lenses, and industrial cameras.Furthermore, the paper introduces the purpose and methods of image processing,and studies the key image processing technologies which adopted in the vials defectsvision detection system. The detection steps of bottleneck’s defects are analyzed amply,and the regional radial projection method is proposed for detection of bottle ring.Besides, the paper shows the detection program of bottle wall defects, and adopts themultiple edge points fitting for bottle axis positioning according to the imagecharacteristics. Then the detailed process of the detection of bottle bottom defects isstudied.In the end, the paper introduces the common software development programs inthe visual system. The composition of the structure of the software system is given,and the paper makes a detailed description for the designing and working principle of each function. Then a solution based on multithread is proposed according to thereal-time requirements of the system; finally, the paper analysis the working principleof the rotary shifter.
