With the development of the WEB2.0, the services of broadband network are becoming more and more popular; especially the maturing video service. These developments in the Internet industry provide the necessary prerequisites of the establishment of the web video. Website as a platform for online transmission of information is in from the traditional images, text, FLASH and other media forms of communication to the audio, video, rich media and other innovative forms of communication upgrade stage.Through the video service system, from its original site only with pictures, text to provide users with information, to the development of graphic, audio and video combination of services for the majority of users to provide services. Video service with its irreplaceable advantages are gradually becoming the major Internet service; video service systems are also being the majority of government websites, radio and television news portal website, as well as various vertical portal attention.With the establishment of video service system, the information provided by the website now is the combination of services for the graphics, audio and video instead of the information of original pictures and text etc. This thesis analyzed the stream media protocol in detail and introduced the meaning of stream media, and then analyzed the stream media protocol by a simple example. Then the thesis described the stream media proxy cache technology in detail and the implementation and application of P2P protocols based on detailed analysis of stream media systems design and implementation. Finally, the thesis introduced the stream video encoding technology, introduced H.264-based stream media encoding technology, algorithms and implementation.Through the above media stream key features, analysis of the streaming media technology in the website and network system, based on the application of streaming media, expounds the characteristics and value of.
