Abstract


With the advances in technology, digital home has become a trend. Digital TV interactive applications and information service have become part of people’s life. Meanwhile, digital TV users made a higher demand on the visual effect of digital television. For all kinds of digital TV interactive application software, its visual effect, and operation convenience have direct impact on user’s choice. However, at present various digital TV graphical interface development does not come into a unified standards. Development of digital TV graphical interface must begin at the bottom layer, which is very difficult.This paper reserch and develops graphic user interface in digital TV midleware, which bases on the project of Embedded Software Platform reserch and development for digital TV. The paper designs a graphic user interface model for digital TV,making the model into presentation layer, parse layer, logic layer and graphics layer. Moreover, the paper research and develop a markup language call XTML referencing HSML,which can describle the digital TV graphic user interface. Develop a Visual interface development tools base on XTML and its parser.In addition.This paper develop the graphic user interface for digital TV base on sigma smp8654 CPU, which provides a set of API for interactive services of digital TV. Besides,designs an application base on the graphic user interface XTUI, verifies the feasibility and robustness of XTML.Base on XTUI ,development of graphic user interface become easier and the user only need to fill in the informantion of graphic user interface.XTUI reduce the difficulty of developping graphic user interface , Shortting the cycle of developping graphic user interface, which has significance on software development .
