Abstract


The practical application of the laser , according to different requirements , it is often necessary light intensity distribution of the laser beam to be shaped . For example, shaped as a rectangular , circular, etc. . Conventional optical element is difficult to achieve this transformation , but with low efficiency CGH . Because computer optical elements can be fully and effectively generate arbitrary shape of the light wave surface , so this is mainly related to the theory of optics research computer design, computer simulation, experimental study . In this paper, based on geometric theories and scalar theory to design computer optical surface relief height , text using geometric theory deduces the Gaussian beam shaping a positive square -shaped beam , rectangular beam , linear beam computer optical surface relief formula ; through computer aided design, computer calculated the relief on the surface of the optical element height, design of the optical element of the computer . Computer simulation results obtained with the expected diffraction pattern consistent ; paper also discusses the design parameters on image quality were investigated. Meanwhile , the paper also using scalar theory designed to Gaussian beam shaping a positive square -shaped beam of 16-order computer optical elements , the paper mainly a GS (Gerchberg-Saxton) algorithm, and on this basis has been improved ; through computer simulation , to obtain a surface relief optical elements computer FIG . Computer simulated diffraction pattern consistent with the expected results ; paper also designed as a rectangular shaping of the Gaussian beam , human , bird-shaped annular distribution and multi- beam optical element computer simulation result consistent with the expected results . The paper on the two design theory simulation results obtained were compared to a certain reference value derived conclusions on the future design of computer optical element has guiding significance .
