Abstract


In this paper dimensions of patch is confirmed with analyzing the transmission line model traditionally. And radiating character and bandwidth of this type of antenna are gained. To arrange the array with them, ε of the substrate is confirmed. Through the Green Function analyze, parameters of S to dual-polarized antenna array is gained. Based on these theories, 2X2 patch antenna array is designed in the paper. Microstrip patch antenna has the characteristics of low section, easy matching and narrow bandwidth. To broaden the bandwidth, multi-resonance technology is used. And length affecting the antenna array between the patch is studied. The antenna array has two ports. One exports vertical, the other exports horizontal.The antenna operates at 2.45GHz. The antenna is mainly intended to be used for reception of a video signal transmitted from a unmanned aircraft. The directivity of the antenna array is higher than 13dbi. Side-lobe level is lower than -23db. X-polar level is lower than -20 db. Bandwidth is more than 350 MHz. All parameters satisfy the need ofaircraft. While performance of antenna is improved, it can satisfy the need of WLAN.
