Abstract


21century will be more opening. Globalization and collectivison have become thetwo trends of the world development. No country can achieve development alone.Economicand trade cooperation happening among different areas become more and more often. Thistrend will expand and develop deeply. Trade cooperation has been high up,such as inNorth-America free trade area and European Union. Since the beginning of reform and open,the east coast of China has become the forward-position of the mainland in openning, andnow the whole economic or industry level has reached to higher. Shandong province hasmade great progress in foreign trade cooperation with other countries (districts). However,from the angle of the east coast of China and the Asia-Pacific region, Shandong also was lesscompetitive than other districts, such as Yangtse River triangle urban cluster. But from thelocation angle, Shandong is the only area of the China mainland that is nearest to Japan andKorea synchronously, which are the two most developed countries of the Asia, so Shandongowns unique advantages, which are the important terms for Shandong joining in the regionalcollabration and territorial division with Japan and Korea. Also Shandong Peninsula is themain economic part of the whole province,only its advance can evidently build up thecompitition of the whole province. Based on these backgrounds,this paper analyses the tradecooperation between Shandong Peninsula and Japan、Korea. The whole dissertation containsfive sections.The first section is the introduction. This part presents the background、meaning and themain content of the essay.The second section is the practical and theory basis. First,in this part representativedomestic and international research status quo of the research are briefly summarized. Theresearch is mainly based on two important theories. One is the relative advantage theorywhich is the typical theory basis for export and import between different countries (districts)especially for the trade between developing and developed. The other is the internationaldirect investment theory that is refer to the trend of Japan and Korea’s investment toShandong in the future.The third section mainly analyses the macroscopical circumstance and basic conditions,which is the necessary premise for the research. From the developing current of theglobalization and regional economy combination and round-bohai or yellow sea basin’sregional cooperation, exploring the extra surroundings for Shandong making further evolutionin economy;Then make an introduce in Shandong Peninsula urban cluster’construction andPeninsula manufacture’s industry upgrade, which is Shandong self developing request. Fortheir culture similarity、geography bordering、resource complementary and cooperativepractice, Shandong Peninsula and Japan or Korea take on a great potential in cooperation inthe future. However, when the competition in Asia-Pacific area becomes more intense andcomparing with other places such as Yangtse River delta of the east coast China, Shandong isstill less competitive especially in economic strength and the capability of industry match.The forth part is the key part of the thesis. It divides three aspects to analyze:first ,becauseat present qingdao、yantai and weihai’s foreign trade amounts and activities make the mostpercent of the whole province,about 80% or more. So data analysis mainly comes from thethree cities’. Next it came to the investment between them ,but Shandong investing to Japanor Korea just begins andwas little,so the course and change of Japan and Korea’s FDI to Shandong are centrallydiscussed. Then based on the analysis on exports、imports and investment ,combing threetrade policy,the problems and obstacles exist in trade cooperation are put forward.Founded on analysis in characteristics and problems and referring to North-east Asia tradetactics ,in the fifth part,the foreground of trade between Shandong peninsula with that twocountries,then respectively prospect imports(exports) and investment with each country.At last in the aspect of how to build groundwork and human resource、form industry clusterand upgrade industry structure ,bring Shandong Peninsula’s economy steping up to higherlevel and stronger competition,then make a further development and qualitative fly incooperating with Japan and Korea. Also, it contains how to accelerate Shandong Peninsulaurban cluster growing up with taking full advantage of industry transferring of Japan andKorea.
