Abstract


The research objects of this paper are Wuhan’s enterprises and individuals who engage in Electronic Commerce activities on Internet. They are called e-Businessmen. E-Businessmen are the subjects in Electronic Commerce activities. With the development and popularity of Electronic Commerce, e-Businessmen have become a special commercial group and have been paid more attention, and there are more studies on them. The thesis begins with the generalization and perfection of the theoretical framework of e-Businessman, makes investigation and SWOT analysis of the current situation of Wuhan’s e-Businessmen, and also puts forward some suggestions for developing Wuhan’s e-Businessmen.The main body of this paper includes three chapters, the 2nd chapter, the 3rd chapter and the 4th chapter.The 2nd chapter is about the theoretical framework of e-Businessman. Base on the present studies it makes some generalization and perfection of the theoretical framework of e-Businessman, which includes the concept of the e-Businessman, the characteristic and classification of e-Businessmen, the developmental paths of individual e-Businessmen and enterprise e-Businessmen, the relevant basic theories and the motivation of the e-Businessmen development.The 3rd chapter is about the investigation and SWOT analysis of the current situation of Wuhan’s e-Businessmen. The investigation is made from two distinct aspects, individual e-Businessmen and enterprise e-Businessmen. The analysis includes Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.The 4th chapter is about the seven suggestions for developing Wuhan’s e-Businessmen, which are grasping opportunity of government’s paying more attention, and then to better the law environment and the credit system; grasping market opportunity and then to enlarge domestic and abroad markets; grasping opportunity of e-Businessmen’s extensive and ecological development and then to promote e-Businessmen’s evolution; bringing the strengths of Wuhan’s social informatization into full play and then to better the environment of enterprise informatization; bringing the strengths of location and communication of Wuhan into full play and then to upgrade the general level of logistics; bringing the strengths of education of Wuhan into full play and then to adjust the direction of personal training oriented by demand in market; bringing the strengths of traditional industry and commerce of Wuhan into full play and then to promote the deeply integration with Electronic Commerce.The thesis’ innovations include perfecting the theoretical framework of e-Businessman, investigating situation of Wuhan’s e-Businessmen, putting forward some suggestions for developing Wuhan’s e-Businessmen. There are some defects in the thesis, such as the weakness of fundamental theories, not systematic investigation and not enough deeply analysis.
