Abstract


The early awareness of games is full of fear, and people deemed these "electronic opium" must be uprooted in the country. However the market economy has taught us further to understand and accept the game. When we rapturously play Contra, Super Mario with Nintendo Family Computer in 1980s, we can’t imagine that Online Game a epoch-making product will be created and came to us such fast. Today, the value of global game industry is more than film industry, to become the world’s largest entertainment industry, the development of online games can not be ignored!How to give players more freedom and power to let them get more open-user experience in an orderly virtual world. As well known that most players can be self-disciplined in a closed small environment, but a great environment for tens of thousands of people is impossible to create an effective self-regulation. Thus it was proposed to create a "Disneyland" type of virtual world, this is a place with strict rules and control. Players only can communicate and play in accordance with established rules, but this idea contrary to the openness and interaction of online game. Many designers think that the future of online games should allow players to create some personalized items, and these items or contents will permanently exist and bring good effects to the virtual world. This the best way to keep players interest. How to give players more creativity in a controlled enviroment, this is the biggest challenge for the online games.In this thesis, we use the graduation design《virtual 3D shopping mall》as an example to study the value of B to C Virtual Community Online Game.《virtual 3D shopping mall》has company mode and personal mode. In company mode, company user can present their new products to the customers with virtual 3D models. This game also is a good place for the fashion designers to show their capabilities. In the personal mode, players can create and edit characters and control them to shopping, try the new dress just like what they do in the real life. Allowing the players is not just simply play the game, but also be able to bring convenience to their life, and create a personalized way to trade, bring economic benefits to society.
