Abstract

Cultivar soybean (G.max) originates from China, becomes one of the most important oil crops in the world, and is the fourth crop inferior to rice, wheat and corn, whose planting area is up to 8.5 millions hectare in our country. Although soybean area is not large in Chongqing, it adapts to different seasons of spring, summer and fall to plant. With adjustment of industrial frame and social need increasing, it is very important to enlarge soybean area, increase yield, breed varieties adaptable to different seasons and shorten breeding process. The experiment carried out by completely randomized block design, ten prevailing varieties as trial material sown three times at spring, summer and fall respectively, researched their genetic characteristic of agronomic traits. The results were as follows.1. Phenotypic result of agronomic characters of soybeans sown in three seasonsThe means of agronomic traits in the ten cultivars from high to low are respectively that plant height, branch number and the number of effectual pods were largest in summer sowing, smaller in spring sowing and smallest in fall sowing ; 100 seeds weight, nutritional growth duration, yield per plant, yield were highest in spring sowing, the lower of those were in summer sowing and the lowest were in fall sowing; the height of bottom pods, caulis nods and reproductive growth duration of fall sowing were higher than summer sowing, those of which were higher than in spring sowing; seeds per pod of in summer was the most, that of in fall was less and in spring was the least; total generational duration in spring was the longest, that in fall was shorter and in summer was the shortest.2. Correlation of agronomic characters between sowing seasonsThe correlation of the height of bottom pods, caulis nods and total generational duration were not consistentbut positive or negative. And that of others agronomic characters was the same. Especially the correlation of plant height, 100 seeds weight and nutritional growth duration between sowing seasons were close to or came to notable or most notable level. The correlation of yield between spring sowing and fall sowing was most remarkable while that between spring sowing and summer or between summer and fall was not remarkable.3. Correlation of agronomic characters in different sowing seasonsThe correlation of agronomic characters in different sowing seasons was different. There were positive ornegative correlation between plant height and yield per plant, pods per plant, 100 seeds weight, nutritional growth duration, reproductive growth duration, total generational duration, block yield, between caulis nods and branch number of caulis, seeds per pod, reproductive growth duration, between branch number of caulis
