Abstract


With more and more research and application on the Data Mining and OLAP based on the Data Warehouse, information and its dominator are more and more important. In order to store information and process further, support the decision system better, the concept of Information Warehouse comes out, which unites Management of Information System, Decision Support System and Working Information System. As a special data framework, Information Warehouse transforms the data which are scattered and visited difficultly into the convergence and coherent information which can be used whenever, separates the information needed by decision support from the daily working data in corporation, provides a better environment for Decision Support System and Office Information System, and provides the source of information for all kinds of Information System.According to the characteristic and categories of information in process industrial, the basic-element is introduced for completed information expression in this paper. The alternatives, attributes and values are comprehensive together by basic-element, such features could be efficiency for expressing measurable and immeasurable information. The
