Abstract


Third-Party logistics (3PL) information platform is a frontier project and an important direction of the information technology development. Based on the construction of international logistics information platform of CMT Group, this paper aims at proposing solutions to seek how to promote information interaction and resource sharing between enterprises.The paper mainly puts forward appropriate, practical solutions to solve the current problems, including difficult communication, difficult exchanging information and difficult finding information, etc. Through the popular 3PL logistics information platform it’s easy to solve these problems. 3PL logistics information platform is a branch of logistics information platform, and CMT Group is a third-party logistics enterprise. It has certain advantages to build such a platform, through the platform it can provide opportunities to exchange information and data and strengthen cooperation space for corporations.The paper first analyses the research situation at home and abroad, and then research the basic theory of logistics information platform and 3PL logistics information platform. Then, the paper studies the solution of the construction of 3PL logistics information platform. In the process of constructing platform, according to the physical conditions of CMT Group, the paper makes the specific planning and layout for the logistics information platform based on network structure, system structure, platform structure. Then the paper makes specific arrangements for the whole solution, from strategic layer, management layer and personnel layer, the paper studies function and effect of each layer. Once again, we should do the effectiveness evaluation to the solution through the actual operation. This paper lists a simple set of performance evaluation indicator system. Through the analysis of the actual effect in the index system we can evaluate the role of solution effect. Finally, in view of the problems that may occur, the paper puts forward some opinions and modification.Through the paper, it’s easy to find that 3PL logistics information platform can help enterprises to improve informatization level, enhance communication between enterprises, increase interaction, reduce the data communication disorders, reduce the original enterprise communication barriers, etc.
