This article based on the theory analyse and field experience study of a eleven roll straightener. It gives a detailed and rounded analysis of the elergetics parameter analytical model and the main drive system bearing capacity. And it gives the concerned modified method to the problems that happen in the staightener working.As the traditional straightening theory, supposed the zero flexural torque point is on the roll and the straightening object contact joint. It does consider the influence of the flexural torque that the fore and after roller bring. So, the conclusion is not accord to the actual result. I analyse it with the elastic-plastic deformation theory and quote the virtual supporting point and get the energetics parameter mathematical model. At last I get the formulas. The test result shows that the new model is really comes up to the actual situation of the straightening force.For the staightener main drive system cross axle type universal coupling often break down, I analyse its intensity with finite element technique. I get the stress distribute status, the dangerous position and its reasons. I also make the detailed data of the roller end flat and the roller end flat cover gap’s influence. Based on the above research I give some modified measures in this article.The conclusion brings a new staightener theory analysis calculate method. And the detailed data is a reference in the other straighteners energetics parameter calculate , technological parameters’design, device protect and modify .
