Abstract


The construction of characteristic database is the main measure in university library facing the challenge of digital age Its aim is to exert fully the function of the characteristic resources in library for the service of teaching and scientific research and economic construction and the development of society ,and to satisfy the need of user mostly The construction of characteristic database may set the brand status of library to strengthen the competitive capacity in information society, and it is the foundation of university library in information society Combining the theory and the practice ,this thesis expounds detailedly the correlation contents(the basic theory of database construction, the construction of information resources, the technology and standard during the construction of database, the copyright issues in using the information resources) with the description of diagrams and characters The research result has guidance significance to a certainty aiming at practice work Firstly, this thesis expounds the research background, the goal of research and practice significance, .the research actuality at home and abroad and the research content; Secondly, this thesis introduces the concept of characteristic database and principles and the significance of constructing database, and investigates the construction status of characteristic database in part "211 project" university library, and puts forward some problems during the construction of characteristic database at present; Thirdly, this thesis analyzes detailedly the basic theory of the construction of information resources of characteristic database, and the flow of the construction of information resources, and the copyright issues in using information resources; Fourthly, this thesis discusses the correlation supporting technology(the collection technology of information, the processing technology of information, the storage technology of information, the retrieval technology of information, the publishing technology of information)and the criterion; Finally the thesis returns to reality from theory and discusses the construction process of characteristic database in practice taking the "Maozedong characteristic database" as an example ,and puts forward some opinions on the basis of the practical experience on the construction of characteristic database
