Abstract

Gas hydrate caused great concern around the world because of its huge energy potential and environmental effects. Our technology of rapid detection in fluid geochemistry, especially rapid detection of ship technology field is still far away and even in some areas blank. Therefore, the research of the international advanced level of fluid geochemistry of gas hydrates in Situ Detection Technology, to provide tech support for our investigation and evaluation of marine gas hydrate resources, delineation of target areas, will be of great significance both in technical innovation and economic development. This paper relies on the research team of National 863 "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" fluid geochemical exploration of gas hydrate technology. Research team adopts the technical route of combination research and development. If there are certain basic equipments technologies, it will focus on the research. And for new products is focused on the development. This paper completed the research of vacuum degassing device and its non-gas chromatography test system and the experiments in fluid geochemical exploration of gas hydrates.1, developed a vacuum sampling device, and tests the vacuum sealed sample bottle; improve the vacuum degassing equipment, and innovate technology of the key parts of the device, including workflow design and analysis, and design the overall structure of device; improved portable precision sensor and the conventional infrared analyzer, adopt flow injection technology, and carried out analysis of stability and detection limits in laboratory.2, participated in field test of the HY4-2009-2 cruise in the South Sea, tested the vacuum degassing device and its non-gas chromatography test system which had researched and improved. Sea trial results show that the vacuum sampling device can achieve extract the water and gas samples quickly from the pore water and stratified seawater extract device; vacuum degassing equipment can degas sample gas effectively and quickly; the improved portable high-precision sensors and flow injection-type infrared analyzer measure methane gas, hydrogen and carbon dioxide in the sample quickly. Sea trials proved this test system can be effectively applied to gas hydrate exploration tasks.3, the system has high sensitivity, small lightweight, low power consumption, easily operation, adapt to harsh conditions and meet the requirements of trace gas composition. The research has a wide range of applications, such as investigation and evaluation of gas hydrate and conventional oil, basic geological research, marine environmental monitoring and other fields.4, at the same time, system also found some shortcomings through the sea trial test, such as flow injection-type infrared analyzer due to stability issues, needed to improve.
