Abstract


The Partitives is the Chinese unique part of speech, and also the last independent part of speech. Therefore the Chinese Partitives’s teaching of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language has the corresponding distinctive quality. Among all the Chinese international students all over the world, the ones who take English as mother tongue are not a few. Through the detailed contrast between Chinese and English Partitives system may raise the Partitives teaching efficiency, and lead the positive transfer of English with the similarities, avoid and solve the negative transfer of English with the differences. On the basis of the basic definition and classification of Chinese and English Partitives, this paper made detailed contrastive analysis of the Partitives noumenon and function between two languages. This paper is intended to analyse the biased error international students made in TCFL, put forward some advices in teaching and learning Chinese Partitives, and also make some suggestions in compiling the textbooks which on account of the students take English as mother tongue.
