Abstract


Yi yang is one of the areas that produces bamboo. Yi yang’s bamboo weaving is a very important traditional handicraft in Yi yang. The passage shows the procedures of Yi yang’s bamboo weaving and analyzes the deep effect of Yi yang’s bamboo weaving given by Chu culture. In order to increase the art and economic value of Yi yang’s bamboo weaving and promote the development of Yi yang’s bamboo weaving,I will analyze the current situation of Yi yang’s bamboo weaving,and several helpful suggestions of design thoughts and prospects will be given. Some departments should pay attention to the poor culture so that the traditional handicraft can be inherited and protected. As a result,the traditional handicraft can play an active role in the modern society.
