Abstract

Purpose of gastrointestinal cancer patients often accompanied by indigestion and immune function, and stress response induced by surgery is the body of a special form of trauma, surgical trauma, anesthetics and analgesia pump extensive use of by neural and humoral pathway to interfere with the body's normal immune system, making cellular immunity, humoral immunity and nonspecific immune system is suppressed, so that the body's immune function further damage; immune dysfunction not only postoperative increased complications, but also closely related with tumor metastasis and recurrence, as well as affect the next step of treatment, so as soon as possible after the recovery of immune function in patients has a very important meaning for the prognosis of patients. We use the efficacy of Jianpiyiqi decoction \, CD4, CD8, CD4/CD8 change, evaluate the clinical efficacy of the spleen Qi Tang. Methods 20 patients required surgical treatment of gastrointestinal cancer patients, according to the operative time were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Control group after conventional medication, including the prevention of infection, fluid support, do not use will affect the body's immune system immune agents. Treatment group, while conventional medication after seven days after taking the spleen Qi Tang, 1 day, 2 times a day, seven days for a course. Patients with postoperative loss of appetite, abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting and body temperature, and after 7 days and 14 days respectively selected patients with peripheral venous blood 2ml detect the level of plasma T-cell subsets CD3, CD4, CD8. Results after 14 days of treatment group compared with the control group, the patient's appetite, abdominal pain, bloating, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms have improved. Treatment group taking the spleen Qi Tang decoction before and CD3, CD8 difference with the control group before and after CD3, CD8 difference between a very significant difference (P <0.01). CD4 levels of the treatment group and control group after 7 days no significant difference (P> 0.05), 14 days after CD4 levels and no significant difference (P> 0.05); groups CD3, CD4 changes before and after there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Between the group and the group of CD8, CD4/CD8 changes before and after there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). Conclusion This study showed that the spleen Qi Tang can improve the patient's clinical symptoms, improve the the body peripheral blood CD3, CD4 level, and enhance immune function, improve patients' resistance to disease, may reduce the incidence of postoperative complications rate, improve the survival rate of patients after surgery.
