Abstract


This article has studieded the theory and observed clinic effect of expelling pathogenic cold by warming the meridians and dispersing obstruction to inducing the channals and collaterals which treated ankylosing spondylitis due to symdrome of cold-dampness blocking the channals and collaterals.In the theoretical research, by analysing the relevant literature with what have studied from expeience of my tutor and myself. In our opinion, the pathogenesis of ankylosing spondylitis consists of innate factors deficiency, unprecautionness of health preservation, reinvasion of pathogenic factors, derectly invasion of external pathogenic wind-cold-dampness stagnates, and disorder of function of viscera and bowels.The three pathogenic factors stagnates in arthritis, tendons and bones and musculars. And the main pathogenesis is the deficiency of spleen, liver and kidney, the pathogenic factors are wind-cold- dampness and interlocked phlegm and blood stasis.In the clinical observation, guided by the treatment of expelling pathogenic cold by warming the meridians and dispersing obstruction to inducing the channals and collaterals to remove cold-dampness blocking the channel and collaterals. We prescribe Wenjinsanhan decoction to observe 20 ankylosing spondylitis patients due to pathogenic wind-cold-dampness after 12 weeks. Results of clinical observation, the effective rate of treat group was 80%, which significantly surpassed the effective rate of the control group 50% (P<0. 05). In conclusion, yiyiren/duhuojisheng decoction has a good effect which can improve clinical symptom, joint function and regulate immune function, enhance the patients living quality and improve internal enviroment and so on. Its also has little adverse reaction in comparison with control group. The prescription had a practical value for ankylosing spondylitis due to pathogenic wind-cold-dampness.
