This paper provides a Shandong Aluminum waste red mud and industrial hydrochloric acid as raw materials , using the most simple chemical precipitation method , the different non-metallic and metal compounds ( silicon dioxide , red iron oxide , aluminum hydroxide and anhydrous chlorine calcium ) from the complex composition of red mud sequential isolated and purified by . According exploratory trials and single- factor test results to determine the impact of red mud extract useful elements of the main factors are: the reaction temperature , reaction time and solid-liquid mass ratio . In order to study investigated the useful elements of different factors on the rate of extraction , orthogonal experiment was designed and conducted , and ultimately determine the optimal experimental conditions : the solid-liquid mass ratio of 1:3 , the reaction temperature is 50 ℃, reaction time was 90min. Characterized by trial and testing , the main factors for the useful elements extraction rate changes on the level of theoretical analysis , test results and theoretical analysis. The nature of the extracted material and application are briefly described. Experimental and theoretical analysis shows that the formulated test technology is feasible , the technical route correctly , can achieve all of the red mud comprehensive recycling of useful components , and the entire recycling process produces no other wastes. The research results will follow in the pilot and industrial scale production with some guidance and reference.
