Currently, galvanized sheet has been widely used in the automotive, appliance and construction industries . The hot-dip galvanizing is still the most popular applications in the steel corrosion prevention methods , the most effective technological measures . But in recent years , the price of zinc metal doubled up thick , hot dip galvanized zinc coating plate , hot galvanized plate too costly , electro-galvanized sheet coating thin , corrosion resistance , better hot galvanized plate . This study is the Preparation of Al-Mg alloy coating in galvanized sheet surface by dual -target magnetron sputtering and study the performance of coating , the main purpose is to improve its corrosion resistance . By changing the power control of the Al target, and the Mg target Al-Mg alloy composition, changing the temperature Ar Pressure , to determine the best magnetron sputtering process and the sputtering time . Dual - target magnetron co- sputtering of Al-Mg alloy coating prepared by a different process conditions in galvanized sheet base to study the relationship between the preparation conditions and the performance of Al-Mg alloy coating . The results show that : the Al-Mg alloy coating gloss using magnetron co- sputtering method , prepared , smooth surface , is a silver-white metal coating ; Scanning electron microscopy showed Preparation of Al-Mg alloy coating evenly distributed , arranged tight, the adhesion of the film is also good, alloying degree is very good, uniform crystal particles , measuring the specific composition ratio of the Al-Mg ; to divided Al12Mg17 by X-ray diffraction detected the primary group of the Al-Mg plating layer , the preferred orientation of (411); electrochemical test and salt spray tests showed that by the Al - Mg alloy plating has a good corrosion resistance, the optimum conditions : Mg target power of 8.5W Al target power is 565W , the coating composition : Mg 4.12wt%, Al 95.88wt%, a substrate temperature of 200 ° C , the coating resistant to corrosion under the process conditions for up to 96 hours .
