Abstract


Since reform and opening , Jiangsu Province, attracted a lot of foreign direct investment. Foreign investment in Jiangsu Province, the spillover effects of what happened ? Study this question for us to formulate appropriate foreign policy is concerned is of great significance . FDI on the host country or local economic impact , especially in technology spillover effect , causing the theory and government sectors of great concern. This effect is considered to obtain advanced production and management technology multinational important channel . However , for different places empirical research suggests , FDI in different countries and local spillovers have great differences , and in some places even had a negative spillover effects . In this paper, a lot of research and analysis , based on the combination of Jiangsu Province, the industrial sector data on FDI in Jiangsu province 's technology spillover effect issues a lot of empirical analysis . Firstly, the classical theory of foreign capital and foreign technology spillovers FDI technology spillover effect discussions related empirical literature is reviewed and combing ; on FDI in Jiangsu and geographical distribution of industrial structure and the foreign origin and mode of entry for comprehensive overview and summary. Jiangsu Province, the overall technical papers on spillover effects on the industry level between industrial technology spillover effect is analyzed. Regression analysis showed that : Jiangsu Province in the overall FDI technology spillover effect is not obvious , we believe that foreign -funded enterprises with a low correlation between the cause of this result is the main reason ; from the industrial level, foreign Jiangsu Province, the industrial sector in the industry resulted in a significant spillover effect within the industry , but its total output of domestic enterprises is still smaller than the contribution of domestic enterprises factor inputs of capital and labor . Through further analysis, we found that intra-industry : domestic and foreign technology gap between the sales gap between the level of its industry spillovers have a greater impact . In the technology gap small gap or small industry sales level of technology spillover effects of foreign produce larger . Based on the above empirical results , this paper strengthen competition, promote the standpoint of the association to promote greater overflow of foreign policy recommendations .
