Abstract


Kaolin in coal measures is an important non-metallic mineral resource, which is widely used in ceramic, refractory material, paper, rubber and plastic industry. To develop new using scope, this article emphases study the theory and the technique term of polishing powder which use by kaolin.Make use mineral difference of mineral-component chemistry-component and structure tectonic, choice stuff of kaolin to adapt to produce polishing powder, deeply study the kaolinˊs decentralization and the process of changing which is by heat by though many ways which include mill run precision classification and hot maching , confirm the technique condition of producing polishing powder which use by kaolin. The material which is used to producing polishing powder by kaolin is coal measures or southward of weathering sediment.The mostly way which is dominated granularity of producing polishing powder by kaolin is mill run and precision classification: wet mill milling and pipe centrifugal machine is good idea in classification.The condition of classification producing polishing powder by kaolin is using pipe centrifugal machine. The round is 24000r/min, the best mine plasma is 3-5% by pipe centrifugal machine. The dispersant is Sodium polyacrylate hexametaphosphate, the dosage is 3‰of mine plasma. Dealing with these condition that can get the sample that is not more 5μm than, and the granularity distribution is cabined, the sample satisfy with industrial demand.The condition of calcining temperature producing polishing powder by kaolin is temperature and reaction air .the calcining temperature is about 950℃-1150℃and reaction air is feebleness oxidation–feebleness deoxidize, keeping 2-4 hours, now the mostly mineral phase is andalusite and silimanite.By laboratory’s trial having produced good capability polishing powder, the sample is appraised and polishing examined by factory of Jiaozuo pingyuan optics apparatus of national defense industry part, This polishing powder can polish optics glass and reach to gradeⅥ, accidencly, satisfied with the request of optics glass.
