Abstract


At present, the phenomenon of economic growth differences among countries , among regions , and between regions within the region are very significant . Also a variety of research literature on the differences in economic growth emerging, research methods . In this paper, Guangdong Province , for example study shows the differences in the characteristics of the economic growth in Guangdong Province , not only from all angles to explore , but also to study the differences in economic growth . This paper first introduces the the thesis research background , significance , research methods and ideas ; introduce the concept of economic growth , the theory of economic growth and economic growth differences theory ; statistical method to describe the situation of the economic growth of Guangdong Province difference reveals the formation of the direct causes of this situation , and then the use of the multi-disciplinary knowledge of econometrics and multivariate statistics , with the of SPSS, EVIEWS and SAS statistical software , the quantitative determination of the various factors that affect the economic growth of the economic growth of the different regions of the Guangdong Province contribution to the extent , in order to identify reasons for differences affect the region's economic growth ; followed by an empirical test of the convergence of the regions of the Guangdong Province, the economic growth differences , and forecast the development trend of the differences of regional economic growth in Guangdong Province . Finally, summary of previous research , this study method to re-examine the gain and loss , and look forward to the prospects of research in this area .
