Abstract


The optical transmission network communication system based delivery platform , with the growing demand of the new business of all kinds of IP data , image transmission , network convergence trends , and reflected in the optical transmission network of technology applications and network formation architecturally . Developed in recent years based on SDH / OTN Automatic Switched Optical Network (ASON) is a concrete manifestation of the evolution and integration of traditional optical transport platform with IP technology . This article first ASON technology standard conditions , summarizes the origin of ASON technology , the history of the development , and the main technical characteristics and advantages , a detailed analysis of the ASON network control plane core technology . On this basis , this paper , through the study of the composition of the optical transmission network and business conditions , analysis of why and how the introduction of ASON technology and ASON technology deployment in the current network location . This article is also combined with a practical example of network application engineering , ASON project involved and the need to focus on to consider the design parameters and indicators .
