Setting calculation is the basis of the work to protect the safe operation of modern large-scale grid protection devices in a timely manner to the fault , to avoid vicious accident guarantee , has a huge economic and social benefits to its in-depth study . With China's great efforts to develop the power industry , the size of the power network is expanding rapidly , the regional network , the provincial network , a rapid increase in the number of nodes even regional power grid , which greatly increased the amount of power system protection setting calculations , therefore setting calculation parallel processing has profound practical significance . This paper begins with an overview . NET-based distributed computing environment , and highlights the NET Framework under . NET Remoting technology . For distributed parallel computing architecture , key issues , such as load balancing , fault tolerance , system scalability , system security , and detailed analysis . Followed by analysis of the characteristics of EHV power grid relay setting calculation . Summarizes the main protection and back-up protection for the special requirements of EHV power grid relay configuration principle and the principle of setting calculation . Machine auxiliary setting calculation and manual tuning is significantly different this article summarized machine auxiliary setting calculation system theory , graph theory , fault calculation model and other key issues .
