Wireless communication technology, computer network technology , the rapid development of video compression technology and image processing technology , making video transmission between ship and shore can be achieved. In this paper, the MPEG-4 encoding technology and accompanied by the appropriate means of transmission of the the ship video image transmission ashore . In this way , you can guarantee the safe navigation of the ship at the same time , the early detection and prevention of disaster or hidden reduce disaster occurred ; rescue ship in distress , provide real-time live images and past the ship around and provide a strong basis for on-site command decisions for sea rescue win precious time , to protect the security of life and property . In this paper, the multi-channel CDMA transmission technology to solve a smaller ship-to-shore data transmission bandwidth bottleneck , so that a larger amount of data transmitted video information can be achieved . The use of digital video processing technology initially realized the intelligent monitoring of ro-ro passenger compartment of the vehicle . This technology to break the traditional manual monitoring center observation , monitoring intelligent , improve work efficiency , reduce human error , and provide a strong guarantee for the safe navigation of the ship . This paper analyzes the development status of domestic and foreign ship-to-shore digital video transmission . Offshore and ocean-going vessels shore digital video transmission means . CDMA and Inmarsat-F as a means of digital video transmission of ship-to-shore .
