Abstract


With the increasing development of science and technology , a full-featured , convenient and practical calculators , computers , etc. in large numbers, people's lifestyles change , calculated in the form of the concept has changed to follow the original need accurate calculation of pen and paper can now choose the tool instead , and the answer can be obtained in a short time , so the judge via computational tools correct answer , whether it is reasonable to become really important . Of our primary and secondary school students , the same frequent use calculator , written calculation , the port operator 's ability to continue to reduce the computational results are correct , and whether it is reasonable to judge rarely . So , for now , to strengthen the estimation of teaching mathematics education reform has become one of the teaching content , and effectively improve the students' ability to estimate . In this paper, the estimates of the number of our 5-7 grade students awareness of the estimation strategy status quo and problems of the research . In the entire course of the study , the author of the 405 students in 5-7 grade estimates consciousness and estimation strategies conducted a survey of 60 students test volume test , the collective sub-group of six teachers and 18 students interviews , and ultimately come to the following conclusions : the majority of students now estimate awareness is weak , the estimate is not strong , mainly reflected in : first, the understanding of the meaning of estimates is quite superficial ; second, the incomplete understanding of estimation strategies ; third, the estimation results are not in place ; fourth , poor awareness of rational use of estimates skills and capabilities ; fifth source of estimation experience is relatively limited . Finally , from the conclusion of this study , I set primary and secondary school mathematics curriculum , teacher education , estimates put forward some proposals teaching three .
