With the implementation of the western development strategy and the opening of the Qinghai-Tibet railway , the Qinghai-Tibet region originally isolated rapid socio - economic development . Many people began to worry about the city of the Tibet region , building regional characteristics will as elsewhere , are gradually disappearing with the rapid urban construction and economic restructuring , and ultimately become a victim of the economic and cultural globalization . It is in this context of the times on the basis of the three research in Tibetan areas , starting from the core values ??of Tibetan culture and worldview , explore Tibetan society, culture and the relationship of the city , building , and eventually come to the moment in the Tibet region evaluation of architectural forms and styles change occurred , as well as the outlook for the future of Tibetan architecture .
