Abstract


Today , urban waterfront development has become a hot topic in the world of urban construction . From the 1960s to the present , the urban waterfront development in Europe and the United States has had a more successful example . In contrast , our research in this area is to try and exploratory stage . Jining is famous canal city . Of Jining city with ancient canal is closely related to historical changes . The revival of the ancient canal will the Jining bring enormous social, economic , and environmental benefits . Jining ancient canal training works fast , and has achieved certain results . The purpose of this research is the ancient canal city of Jining Waterfront updated design study , the proposed system design methods , and continuation of the historical context of the city and the human environment . Jining ancient canal as the starting point , the paper first introduces the research background , content , method and framework of related concepts and connotations . Secondly provide theoretical support of the urban waterfront , and analysis of the current situation and the case of the domestic and international urban waterfront development and design . In this paper, literature research , survey research , comparative study of a combination of research methods , discusses the history of the ancient canal in Jining change and urban development relationship . To study the Jining ancient canal city waterfront , investigated the the ancient canal Riverfront status quo of urban space and coastal preservation of historic buildings , summed up the achievements and problems in the training works in the ancient canal . Finally, start from the four aspects of urban design, architectural design , landscape design , historic building protection and update systematic design method research . The conclusion summarizes the entire paper , emphasizing the development of Jining ancient canal city is full of opportunities and challenges .
