Abstract


Jinchuan magmatic platinum group element -containing copper-nickel sulfide deposit is one of China's largest copper-nickel sulfide deposit , its third of the world's nickel reserves . In this paper, a systematic comparison Yemen Wadi Bayhan copper-nickel deposit and the Jinchuan copper-nickel sulfide deposits regional geological setting , geological conditions , as well as deposits in geological and geochemical characteristics , that there are many similarities between the two characteristics , the initial judge Wadi Bayhan copper-nickel containing platinum group element deposits also is magmatic copper-nickel sulfide deposit, on this basis , to establish its genetic model and reviews the prospecting potential.
