Abstract


Today the digital signal processing is a technology filed which develop greatly fast. In the 60s and 70s, it had came through the FIR, DTFT theory and correlative fast method of calculate. Then by the fast development of computer and micro-electronics technology, the digital signal processing have been pushed to heat. In now times, using cosmically FPGA to do signal analysis and process has become necessary. Make a use of the abundance resource of FPGA, and based on the“stream + parallel”hardware to implement the DSP algorithm, can greatly improve the data throughput, fit the need of real-time processing; and using the universal DSP processor, can implement the bake-end data syncretism and differentiate processing. So no matter the speed and volume, or the agility of design, the DSP + FPGA structure can fit the function of digital signal processor.The major content of this paper is consisted of:(1) Construction of the universal high speed signal processing hardware. Based on the characteristic of chips, have designed the universal signal processing module whose principal part is PCI + DSP + FPGA, and supplied the base for algorithm implementing.(2) Research the implement of the digital orthogonal mixing transform algorithm based on FPGA. The principle of DDC, the poly-phase network and Distributed Arithmetic are mainly discussed. Meanwhile ensuring the correctness and fast processing speed, also considering the resource optimization, and use Xilnx Co. VertexⅡxc2v1000 core to implement this flow with VHDL, then make a prove by downloading code to FPGA hardware.(3) Focuses on the implementing of intra-pulse modulation character of radar signal based on STFT by FPGA + DSP hardware module. This paper use FPGA to do the pretreatment and the implementing of STFT, by the way of handshake to send the necessary parameter and data result to DSP through the interface. The efficiency and reliability are greatly improved; shorten the cycle of intra-pulse. In a specific project, the writer has used Altera CO. StratixⅡEP2S60 and ADI CO. TS101 to implement this flow.The experiment shows, this algorithm has a good performance, can fit the practical need.
