Electromagnetic radiation and scattering numerical analysis in the half- space environment has important applications in radar target environment integrated modeling , low-altitude missile radar target detection such as nearly buried deposits , unexploded mines . General practice for the half- space electromagnetic scattering problems is a half-space interface as a boundary value problem solved by numerical methods , such as finite-difference time - domain (FDTD) method and the finite element method ( FEM ) , but due to the truncation of the boundary conditions and the spatial discretization huge unknown amount of calculation is difficult to guarantee accuracy and more demanding of computer resources . Using integral equation methods just to overcome these difficulties , as a fast and efficient algorithm for integral equations , fast multipole (FMM) and the multilevel fast multipole method (MLFMA) has been widely used for the large target electromagnetic scattering analysis , due to fast multipole multilevel fast multipole method of free-space Green's function commenced based on Green's function is different from the free- space Green's function in the half-space environment , with the addition theorem for half- space under Green 's function expansion differs from the free space , expand access to polymerization , transfer of configuration items . In this article, we will take advantage of already mature free space fast multipole multilevel fast multipole algorithm method of ideological development of the half-space environment . This paper first introduces a conductive half space dyadic Green's function ; then given a half-space under the electric field integral equation as well as the magnetic field integral equation in matrix form ; conductive half space then study the fast multipole method ; final study multilayer conductive half space fast multipole method , local multilevel fast multipole method . Papers on conductive half space in the target electromagnetic scattering of fast multipole method with multi-layer fast multi- pole method accuracy were investigated, by comparing the numerical results of the calculation results are in good agreement with third-party software . This research work for the electromagnetic scattering of large target conductive half space environment provides an efficient means of analysis .
