Three experiments were used to study effects of different seasons and feeding on the growth performance, nutritional needs and meat performance of ducks.A large experiment was conducted to study the different seasons and feeding on growth performance, nutritional needs and meat performance in of ducks.A total of 309,440,000 Ducks standardized in the 2847 duck rearing, The results showed that the days of feeding were 41, 44, 40 and 39 respectively to reach the standard weight of duck in slaughter (3.10 ~ 3.20 kg) in Spring, summer, autumn and winter. F/G was 1.99, 2.04, 2.0 and 2.01 respectively. So, Duck fed large amount of and gained high daily in autumn and winter, when was benefit to achieve the same days to feed less than in summer, was suitable for feeding Ducks.According to the feeding experiment of 2309, 2183, 2019 batches of ducks in the four seasons. We had the linear regression analysis of weight speed and protein, energy intake to determine the maintenance needs of crude protein of duck were 6.315 W0.75、6.013 W0.75、7.591 W0.75 and 8.138 W0.75g/d.Only in four seasons. Each per kilogram weight needed crude protein of 211.0, 220.9, 202.5, 185.5 g/d.Only. The protein maintenance needs in summer of duck was lower significantly than the autumn and winter (P < 0.05), the number was lower than the spring (P > 0.05), the weight gain needs of duck was higher significantly than in autumn and winter (P <0.05), the number was higher than in spring (P > 0.05), the metabolism of ducks to maintain the metabolic needs were respectively 108.69 W0.75、73.49 W0.75、83.03 W0.75 and 125.24 W0.75 kcal/d. Only in Spring, summer, autumn and winter, Each per kilogram weight needed metabolic energy of 4063.9, 4743.8, 4681.2, 3891.8 kcal/d.Only. The maintain needs of metabolic energy of ducks in summer was lower significantly than in spring and winter (P < 0.05), the number was lower than the fall (P > 0.05), the weight gain needs of duck in summer was higher significantly than in spring and winter (P < 0.05), the number was higher than in autumn (P > 0.05). A experiment was conducted to study the different Feeding methods on meat performance and body composition of ducks.five thousand 1- day-old duck were divided into 2 treatments with 4 replicates. The results showed that the slaughter rate, half-eviscerated percentage, eviscerated rate, rate of breast muscle, leg muscle rate in high network and ground network were not significant difference (P > 0. 05), but, the dry matter, crude protein, crude fat and energy were higher than high-net feeding ducks in 28 d (P <0.05).the meat production performance was not significant difference in High-net and low-net feeding of duck, but the body composition was better significantly in low-net than high-net feeding. The duck feeding had better muscle quality in low-net.The factorial model of protein requirements are available to predict in different seasons in the following: Spring: CPR=211.0 BGW+6.315 W0.75; Summer: CPR=220.9 BGW+6.013 W0.75; Autumn: CPR=202.5 BGW+7.591 W0.75; Winter: CPR=185.5 BGW+8.138 W0.75.The factorial model of metabolic energy requirements are available to predict in different seasons in the following: Spring: MER = 4063.9 BWG + 108.69W0.75; Summer: MER= 4743.8 BWG +73.49W0.75; Autumn: MER =4681.2 BWG +83.03W0.75; Winter: MER = 3891.8 BWG + 125.24W0.75.CPRL: Crude protein requirement of duck(g/d.only); MER: Metabolic energy requirements of duck(kcal /d.only); BGW:body gain weight(kg/d.only); W0.75: Metabolic body weight(kg).
