Abstract


Since the 1990s , China 's colleges and universities , along with the expansion of the size of the school and the sharp increase of the number of students , the university campus in a few years has experienced an unprecedented wave of expansion . The attendant problems , many distinctive university campus landscape is gradually losing its personality . This paper analyzes the connotation of the Campus cultural landscape features and elements , the display of the the campus cultural landscape of the campus culture , heritage, spread the role of education and practical function . According to the the campus cultural landscape design must campus culture design content , follow the light of local conditions , sustainable development , people-oriented , the basic principles of inheritance and innovation . Hunan Normal University main campus cultural landscape status quo analysis , it is found that the following deficiencies : lack of knowledge on the campus culture ; lack of deep-rooted historical and cultural connotation of the excavation and expression ; lack of features and changes , and protection and management efforts on the the functional cultural landscape design not enough and so on. To solve these problems, the paper proposes the following solutions : a campus cultural expression can not be confined to the motto, badge expression of the text , but more important is the symbolic meaning of the campus cultural landscape ; iconic historical and cultural landscape has been formed in the campus deep cultural connotation mining to the original renovation of the historical and cultural landscape can not be applied to the cultural landscape after the new design ; indiscriminate use of paint and aluminum alloy original material replace , repair old as preserve its features ; 4 effective use of the original location and the natural environment , cultural landscape with echoes ; 5 campus functional landscape must be based on the overall planning of the campus features design ; strengthen the maintenance and management of the cultural landscape .
