Large sculls the twin rudders ship development , push forward on the double sculls rudder the system hydrodynamic performance study become more and more urgent . But so far , sculls system is mostly done through experiments , theoretical aspects . In this paper, the forecast panel method theory of hydrodynamic performance of the sculls dual rudder system . And the use of numerical methods , simulation analysis the Sculls system by computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT . The main contents of this paper include the following aspects: the use of panel method theory to calculate the three-dimensional rudder steady hydrodynamic performance . And reference to consider the three - dimensional low aspect ratio wing tip vortex theory calculation model . Wing aspect ratio of open water short of the hydrodynamic performance of the numerical calculation , and compared with the experimental results and the theoretical value without considering the influence of the tip vortex . Surface element method to calculate the propeller unsteady hydrodynamic performance . Propeller wake induced velocity field . This article by iterative computation considering the mutual interference of the paddle rudder system , the mutual interference of the calculation of the single-propeller twin rudders , compared with the experimental results of the German river boat Institute is that : this calculation results agree well with the experimental values ??. Sculls twin rudder propulsion system calculation model , steady hydrodynamic performance prediction using the above methods and procedures of the system . Using computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT on double sculls rudder propulsion system simulation . Paddle rudder surface pressure distribution, velocity distribution , and the like. A paddle stuck sculls system when the resistance of the propeller is calculated change . And have been the propeller stuck , wake field . The conclusion provides some basis for further study from the theoretical aspects of this situation .
